• Location: Installed between the excavator’s upper frame (where the cab, engine, and boom are mounted) and the undercarriage (tracks or wheels).

• Function: Enables full rotation while distributing weight and handling forces from digging, lifting, and swinging.

How Does an Excavator Swing Bearing Work?

The swing bearing consists of two main rings:
